All the music and songs written are story based and often songs of empathy. They are also inspired by lucid dream states which often serves as the basis for the art work which follows. The music speaks first then words are evoked with relevent melody. The songs are explorative, sonic movies that one can emerse into if desired. Wolfie came up with the name The Honey Palace from a dream which saw him atop a green and grassy hill over looking a vast blue sea. With arms out stretched he looked down to see bees flying from the horizon into his torso which he noticed was hexagonal and like hive with honey pouring out. Writing is somthing Wolfe enjoys and has thus far written and produced all the material that pertains to be the music side of the Honey Palace and its development in learning and expanding. Wolfe has always been about finding ways to push and expand him self, competing with himself, not others so as to expand conciousness and inspire others around him. Wolfe's next explorative project is a new 'live' based acoustic album. A jouney-man songs of love and longing. Hypnotic, the new material serves to massage the soul and envelope the listener with a spiritual ambiance. Always looking for alternate ways to deliver art and music, at the end of 2006, Wolfie along with good friend Mark Roper, organised to import a 100 sphericle meter Blue Tooth transmition device to use at live shows. Song files were created and uploaded along with jpeg tickets to a remote server. A sign was made and set up at venues for The Honey Palace live shows to let fans know that if they turned their blue tooth on, on their mobile phones, they could accept a song file (the new single) along with a ticket letting them into the next show free. The device could accessed via loggin, anywhere! |
